SOURCING

Our hemp and cannabis strains are carefully selected from Canadian LPs based on CBD content and terpene profile. Each batch is tested by a third-party certified lab for potency, contaminants, and impurities to ensure quality and safety of all input materials.

EXTRACTION

We use cold ethanol in our extraction process. Following extraction, each batch of raw cannabis tincture is rotovaped to remove the ethanol, leaving behind a crude cannabis extract.

DISTILLATION

The crude cannabis extract is distilled to remove unwanted plant compounds, producing CBD-dominant distillate with>80% CBD content.

CBD CRYSTALLIZATION

We use a crystallization process to purify the CBD distillate. Crystallization is accomplished by diluting the distillate in a solvent and stimulating growth of CBD crystals by subjecting the mixture to low temperatures. CBD crystals are then filtered out of the mixture and subjected to vacuum drying to remove any residual solvent. The result is pure CBD isolate powder with >98% CBD content.

Δ⁸ THC PRODUCTION

The CBD isolate is diluted in a solvent at a low pH (acidic) level and subjected to elevated temperatures over an extended time period to produce Δ⁸ THC crude tincture. The crude tincture then undergoes aneutralization process followed by series of distilled water and salt washes. It is then rotovaped to remove all residual solvent resulting in pure, Δ⁸ THC-dominant crude oil.

DISTILLATION

The crude oil then undergoes a short path distillation, a type of molecular distillation that allows for precise separation of compounds at close boiling points. The result is clear, Δ⁸ THC-dominant distillate with potency of 95%+ total cannabinoids.

FULL PANEL RELEASE TESTING

This final distillate is tested at a certified, third-party laboratory for a range of constituents including heavy metals, micotoxins, pesticides, microbes, and residual solvents. This ensures that the product is free from contamination, that all non-cannabis-based ingredients used in the production process have been removed, and that it is safe for consumption.
